On this page we'll provide some history about our organization. The Claxton Community Volunteer Emergency Services was formed in February 1992 when a group of twelve residents met at Double Springs Baptist Church and formed the organization. It serves as a tribute to our charter members and community for coming together to form our department. Shortly after CCVES was organized, the department voted to join the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads (TARS). Click on the image above to learn more about TARS. |
