Claxton Community Volunteer Emergency Services Station 11

Our fire station was built on the old site of the former Claxton School grounds. The school was closed in the early 1970ís and burned in the 1980ís. The original three bay building was built in 1992. The maintenance bay was added in 2002. The majority of all of the work on our building and additions have been completed by our own members.

Claxton members begin clearing debris to build the firehall..

Original fire hall almost completed.

A joyful day as we move our firetrucks into our new firehall!

Check back soon for more pictures and descriptions of our station.
