Claxton Community Volunteer Emergency Services Engine 11


In September of 1995, CCVES received this 1995 International Central States Fire Apparatus built Class A 1250 g.p.m. Engine purchased by McMinn County. This unit is the mainstay of the Claxton department and is first out unit and primary operations unit for all major fire operations as well as command unit for vehicle fire and rescue operations. This unit has a DT 466 International Diesel engine and is an automatic. It has 2 200' 1 3/4" preconnects, 1 200' 1 1/2" preconnect, as well as 1 200' 2 1/2" preconnect. The unit also carries a preconnected 1250 g.p.m. deck gun and 1800' of 2 1/2" supply line is carried also. The unit carries all necessary I.S.O. Class A Engine equipment.
